In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Konzern‑ zentrale in Lauterach und dem Güterbahnhof Wolfurt entsteht ein vollautomatisches Hoch regallager mit 68.000 Palettenstellplätzen. Dank moderner Technologie können dort circa 200 Paletten pro Stunde für den Versand vor bereitet werden. Der neue Standort wird außer dem Sitz der 280-köpfigen IT-Abteilung des Logistikers. Gebrüder Weiss takes this philosophy to heart by constructing a new logistics and IT center in Vorarlberg, Austria – in the immediate vicinity of its Lauterach base and its freight station in Wolfurt. The site features a fully automated, high-bay warehouse with space for 68,000 pallets, along with advanced technology that helps prepare some 200 pallets per hour for dispatch.
