73. Tour of Austria Während Fahrradhersteller auf der EUROBIKE in Deutschland ihre Neuheiten präsentieren, liefern sich zeitgleich internationale Radprofis bei der 73. Tour of Austria spannende Rennen auf anspruchsvollen Etappen. Gebrüder Weiss unterstützt das Großereignis erneut als Logis tikpartner und unterstreicht damit einmal mehr seine Verbundenheit mit dem Radsport. Mit fünf Lkw begleitet das Logistikunternehmen die gesamte Tour und sorgt unter anderem für Streckenabsperrungen und Verpflegung. Leider kommt es in diesem Jahr zu einem tragischen Unfall und das Radrennen endet mit einer Kondolenzfahrt am 7. Juli: Der Norweger André Drege war auf der vierten Etappe am 6. Juli tödlich gestürzt.
73rd Tour of Austria While bicycle manufacturers are presenting their innovations at EUROBIKE in Germany, professional cyclists from around the world are competing in thrilling finishes on the demanding stages of the 73rd Tour of Austria. Once again, Gebrüder Weiss supports this major event as its logistics partner – underscoring its commit- ment to the sport. The logistics expert deploys five trucks throughout the tour – and helps with functions such as catering and cordoning off the course. Unfortunately, this year’s event is marred by a tragic accident: the Norwegian rider André Drege suffers a fatal crash during the fourth stage on July 6. The final stage on July 7 is canceled and his fellow riders take part in a memorial procession for their friend and former rival.
