A total of ten compliance-related incidents were reported in 2024. The background to six of these incidents was econom- ic, while two reports concerned embezzlement – one of these proved to be unfounded, but in the other the employment relationship was terminated without notice. One report involv- ing illegal disclosure of data turned out to be unfounded, as did a report of a violation of antitrust law. Two other reports concerned illegal employment at freight forwarders – in both cases the business relationship with the companies in ques- tion was canceled. There were a total of four incidents involving a social back- ground, please see page 45 (“Incidents of discrimination and corrective actions taken”). No fines were imposed on Gebrüder Weiss in 2023 and 2024.
