corrective actions taken We experienced four social incidents in 2024. Two reports of mobbing were resolved through mediation. A report of racism resulted in the employee being fired, and Gebrüder Weiss apologized to the customer’s employee who was affected. A report of sexual harassment at a company party was resolved in consultation with the person who was harassed and inter- nally as they requested. By comparison, three social incidents were registered in the 2023 reporting year: one incident of mobbing, one incident of mobbing involving violence and one customer complaint of unequal treatment. All these incidents were resolved, with one case resulting in criminal proceedings against an employee.

By conducting targeted training courses and measures to raise awareness, we reinforce the awareness of equal treat- ment throughout the company. In this way, we not only create transparency and confidence in our actions, but also prevent discrimination and unfair treatment effectively. Early identification of discrimination – resulting for example from unequal involvement or a lack of support in day-to-day work – allows us to take targeted countermeasures. Our goal is to offer all our employees equal opportunities to participate and develop. Equal treatment not only protects individuals or groups, it also strengthens how we interact with each other, improves the atmosphere at work and makes a direct contribution to the motivation and satisfaction of all employees.
