THE CHALLENGE
The successful transport of general cargo, which GW has been performing for Hilti for over a decade, should be expanded to cover Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Slovenia. The daily collection of goods and rapid transports had to be guaranteed here.
The challenge:
● Collecting the goods at short notice several times a day from the logistics centres at Vienna-Leopoldsdorf and Nuremberg ● Rapid and safe transport to the customers in Austria and Eastern Europe ● Careful transport of hazardous goods (e.g. ADR class 1 detonators) or long goods (e.g. special rails with a length of six meters)
● Transparent shipment tracking at any time
